whatsbeenstolen.com is a free community database and information center where people can post their stolen possessions (including images) and share their experiences and observations about local crime, crime prevention and property-recovery tips with other victims, concerned citizens, community watchdogs and civic associations.
Postings are confidential and Good Samaritans can reach victims through Whats Been Stolen’s blind forward email system. Victims can even post rewards if they like. The site is not limited to household robberies. Users can post items stolen anywhere, whether it be the ski resort, community center or even high school.
